MCI’s Josephine Arrington Appointed to NAMO Board of Directors

Des Plaines, Illinois, USA – June 11, 2026 (TSX: NFI, OTC: NFYEF, TSX: NFI.DB)— Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc., is proud to announce that Josephine Arrington, Service Center Operations Manager in Blackwood, New Jersey, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Motorcoach Operators (NAMO).
With 19 years at MCI, Arrington started as a mechanic and worked her way up through roles as service advisor to her current leadership position. Her hands-on experience gives her a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities motor coach operators face today.
“In my current role, it’s been important to me to be involved in industry associations like NAMO so I can support our customers in more ways than just repairing their coaches,” said Arrington. “Being part of the industry’s community allows us to advocate for operators, contribute knowledge, and help drive positive change.”
As a NAMO Board member, Arrington looks forward to strengthening collaboration across the industry and supporting the association’s mission to represent and advance motorcoach operators. “I’m excited to advocate for operators and learn from some of the best in the business while continuing to grow with the association,” she added.
Her day-to-day role at MCI places her on the front lines with operators, shop managers, and drivers, providing valuable insight into the realities of the industry. From driver shortages to rising fuel and insurance costs, Arrington has firsthand knowledge of the challenges operators face.
“We see and hear these challenges every day,” she said. “It motivates us to work harder to help find solutions, ease burdens, and support the long-term success of our customers.”
Arrington also emphasized key areas that align with NAMO priorities, including operational excellence, maintenance, employee retention, and customer-focused services as critical drivers of future industry growth. “Operators that modernize fleets, enhance customer experience, and use data to improve efficiency will be best positioned for long-term success,” she said.
Through her role on the NAMO Board, Arrington plans to bring forward insights on operational excellence, employee retention, driver and operator needs, and the importance of safety and proper maintenance, while fostering collaboration across the industry.
Her career at MCI has been shaped by a culture of critical thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement. “The industry is always evolving, and that’s what I love about it,” she said. “It’s a constant learning experience driven by the people and the strong sense of community.”
She summarized her vision for her time on the NAMO Board simply: “Adding value to the travel industry and being of service—while motivating others and helping lift people up.”
“Josephine’s appointment to the NAMO Board of Directors is a well-deserved recognition of her leadership, industry expertise, and unwavering commitment to supporting motorcoach operators,” said Michael Donner, Director of Service Centers. “Throughout her 19-year career with MCI, she has demonstrated a passion for operational excellence, customer service, and industry collaboration. Her firsthand experience working alongside operators and service professionals will bring valuable insight to the Board, and I am confident she will make a meaningful contribution to advancing the interests of the motorcoach industry.”
