The Year in Parts: Upgraded eServices, improved packaging methods, and better availability on the East Coast MCI has long had the industry's most extensive parts inventory, but in the past year, we've gone even further to make more parts available. From greatly expanded inventory on the East Coast to innovative new packing methods, MCI is doing more than ever. It’s faster on the East Coast To better serve East Coast customers, MCI has added over $1 million in inventory to its conveniently located parts facility in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Now, East Coast customers have quicker access to more than 4,000 commonly used parts, with most available for one-day delivery within the Northeast. Drive-in customers will also find a convenient pickup counter. "We recognized that we have a large customer base that needed more immediate service than we could offer out of our Louisville distribution warehouse," says Scot Moir, director of marketing for MCI Fleet Support, adding that some 40 percent of all U.S. coaches can be found within a 100-mile radius of New York City. Keeping track MCI knows that once a customer orders a part, they want to know when it will arrive. Since the beginning of 2005, MCI has been making it easy. You can now track orders through your MCI online account; simply click on the UPS tracking number highlighted on your view screen, and you'll be automatically linked with the UPS website that will give you the delivery details you want to know. Protecting your glass We've banished the foam and created a more secure package for our glass products. Our new packaging carefully suspends the glass for less shifting during shipping with less breakage. Plus, a smaller box profile allows most glass to ship UPS for faster delivery.
