FYI from MCI™

MCI celebrates Atlantic City service center opening with special "Driver's Day"

More than 170 drivers and operators helped celebrate the opening of MCI's new service center at the Atlantic City Transportation Center on June 8. The event was sponsored by Detroit Diesel, which was represented by Doug Weatherly. Wayne Huler, managing director of the Atlantic City Transportation Center was on hand as well, along with representatives of MCI including Dan Heath, manager of the service shop.

MCI served lunch, free water bottles and hats to all who registered — and some water bottles additionally held winning tickets that were redeemed for MCI jackets, collectible model bus toys and road atlases.

But MCI is betting the real winners will be all those who visit the 8,000-square-foot shop for service. Ideally located along the Atlantic City boardwalk, the service center is currently open weekdays and will soon move to a seven-day schedule. Drivers will find a comfortable lounge, ample parking, a fueling station, bus wash and other facilities as well as MCI's exceptional parts and service, which includes MCI's guarantee that coaches that can be repaired in four hours or less will be repaired the same day — no appointment necessary.

The facility is located at 1599 Albany Avenue, Exit 2. The toll-free number is 800-263-1041.
