"These are expensive pieces of equipment," says Mike Denny, vice president of MCI Financial Services. "Most customers can't just run down to the local bank to finance their new or pre-owned coaches. The other side of the MCI financing equation is the relationship that Denny and his team have built with customers. Indeed, MCI Financial Services ends up arranging the financing for more than half of the coaches sold by MCI. Denny and regional account managers Chris Park and Tony Pederson all have extensive experience in coach financing, along with the trust of their customers.

Rosa Alvarez, owner of Latin Express, famous for its flamboyantly painted fleet, says she used to shop for financing on her own. Loans: Coming to terms
MCI Financial Services offers a wide array of conventional fixed- and floating-rate loans with balloon payments. Term lengths vary depending on the age of the coach, with balloon payments being especially popular with operators who know they will trade in their equipment before the term end, says Denny.

Leases: TRAC your investment
MCI Financial Services representatives are expert at figuring the ins and outs of TRAC leasing. The team will gladly work with customers to see if this unique product is right for them.

Refinancing: Popping the balloon
MCI Financial Services can help operators extend or refinance loans that have originated with MCI as well as refinance loans extended by others — often at more attractive terms.
