MAINTENANCE MATTERS WHY MCI TRAINING? MCI's certified technician training program is an integral part of the company's Going further mission. MCI pledges its commitment to ongoing instruction for technicians to achieve a high level of skill in maintaining the operational efficiency of MCI coaches. Courses are offered for the MCI® E, J, D and G models. Subjects include basic or advanced instruction in electrical, HVAC, air brakes and ABS, steering and suspension and engine and transmission systems. Basic instruction is suggested for technicians new to MCI equipment or to orient mechanical staff when a new coach is added to your fleet. Basic courses provide an understanding of the coach systems and also may benefit mechanically inclined drivers, driver trainers or operations staff. Advanced instruction is designed for seasoned professionals who want to strengthen their skills in the latest motor coach systems technology. To assure a student's success, please review the course descriptions and objectives carefully to determine the appropriate training required. COURSE LOCATIONS: Courses are offered throughout the year at MCI Fleet Support service centers in Blackwood, New Jersey, near Philadelphia; Des Plaines, Illinois, in suburban Chicago; Orlando, Florida; Dallas, Texas; Loudonville, Ohio; and Los Alamitos, California, near Los Angeles. Onsite course instruction at your location also is available. If you are interested in training designed specifically for your service staff, please e-mail the MCI training department, or call Steve Kiner at 701-825-5227.
