WINTER MAINTENANCE CHECKLIST

When inspecting your coach be sure to:

Check that the tire depth is within DOT standards and for signs of uneven wear. Replace unsafe tires immediately.
Maintain proper tire pressure. Changes in ambient temperature can significantly raise or lower this pressure.
Check for rust around the lug nuts. This is a sign that lug nuts are loose.
Check that the engine block heater and auxiliary heater are functioning properly.
Check the wiper system and ensure fluids are rated for the temperature ranges that will be encountered.
Remind drivers of what to do in extreme weather conditions and be sure they know the number to MCI's Emergency Roadside Assistance: 800-241-2947.
Check for A/C leaks and defects, especially in the winter. You'll have plenty of time to schedule repairs.
Follow all guidelines in your coach maintenance manual.
