Go West — MCC Connection West, that is

You don't have to be a British Columbia operator to appreciate Motor Coach Canada's Connection Western Conference trade show. Connection West 2007, November 28 through November 30 at the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa, Whistler, British Columbia, features several potentially profitable seminars. Many operators may be especially interested in "Motor Coach Transportation Planning — 2010 Winter Games." The session will give operators the opportunity to meet with Chip Schug, director of operations responsible for the procurement and management of the more than 1,800 coaches that will be required at the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Other sessions will focus on topics including U.S. DOT audits and the new world of biodiesel. And lest operators think this show is all work and no play, MCI will be there, sponsoring a November 28 "Urban Adult Tapas" party at Seven Restaurant, one of Whistler's latest hot spots.
