MCI goes the distance for transit, attends APTA show: With thousands of its coaches serving intercity commuters across the U.S. and Canada, MCI showcased its coaches — and capabilities — at APTA EXPO 2005 in Dallas last month. In addition to making a splash with its D-Series "space" display, MCI took first place in the Adwheel Awards for the D4505/D4005 video. And adding to the festivities, Michael Melaniphy, vice president of MCI's Public Sector sales, graduated with pomp and circumstance from APTA's leadership training program.
