Lamers Bus Lines goes state-of-the-art with six MCI® J4500 elite coaches

SCHAUMBURG, IL — February 8, 2010 — Lamers Bus Lines, Inc. knows their customers want much more than a fair price on transportation in these tough times. They also want unparalleled safety, comfort and clean fuel efficiency, and that's why the historic Wisconsin carrier has chosen six MCI J4500s as the latest additions to their fleet of 100-plus charter vehicles.

Lamers' newest MCI coaches are powered by clean-diesel engine technology and feature the latest in safety performance technology and in-cabin electronics. Providing a superior smooth ride with lower emissions, Lamers' newest coaches come equipped with wide-ride suspension, electronic stability control, SmartWave® tire-pressure monitoring and Amerex fire-suppression systems. Two of the six MCI J4500 coaches ordered by Lamers are equipped with wheelchair lifts. Inside, passengers enjoy the latest Blaupunkt entertainment system, 10.4-inch wide-screen video monitors, Wi-Fi and power outlets to charge electronics. They're even fitted with an iPod dock.

Two of Lamers' new MCI coaches feature a new patriotic decal showcasing America's most popular travel destinations with the tagline "We're Proud to Show You America."

"Our modern fleet offers the contemporary technologies that benefit our drivers and passengers," said Eric Stadler, Lamers charter sales manager. "With the new decals, our coaches become rolling billboards highlighting all the beautiful sights in the United States everywhere Lamers Bus Lines can take you."

Stadler points out these new MCI models support the quality and performance standards Lamers wants to offer its customers. "Today's tour and charter customers are taking a lot more into consideration than ever before. They want newer coaches, with all the bells and whistles, a solid safety record and unparalleled service level. Ultimately travel planners recognize that their groups' satisfaction and safety is worth the price," he said. Stadler notes that Lamers has been awarded several new contracts, retained a solid return customer base, and earned the business of many new customers even during the current economic downturn. The PGA will be hosting the PGA Championship in Kohler, Wisconsin, August 9-15 and Lamers is one of their preferred transportation companies.
